The independent M1 Max report reaches no window at all; other users get a cursor on a black screen. The blocker is the game's Vulkan-only renderer against MoltenVK, not DRM — the upstream MoltenVK crash report was closed as out of scope. One June 2026 video claims a hand-swapped MoltenVK gets it running with major caveats; the newer CodeWeavers rating outweighs a single unreplicated result.
